"Pretty much, but don't worry, I am not one to sacrifice pieces unless I have no other options."

Luna slipped one of the gauntlets on and punched him hard in the stomach.
''YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!!!"

Virgil caught her fist with one hand before it made contact. "Good, remember that feeling. That hatred will come in handy."

She slid her hand from his and sent a punch upward towards his chin.

Before he got hit, Virgil jumped back. "If you want to hurt me, you had better try harder than that. without those greaves, you could never hope to catch me."

Luna lept forward after him on her hands and sent her heel crashign down onto his shoulder.
"Why would i want to catch you? You completly reject me... you dont want me!!"

Virgil went into devil trigger, his body becoming harder than steel. "If i completely rejected you, you would be dead."

Luna sent water swfitly running around teh gauntlets, forming a sharp barrier around them. She sent two swift punches to his chest, digging into the skin.
"then why do you deny me! turning away at my touch!"

Virgil ignored the attacks. "I hate gods, demi-god, and all of you holy users. You hold yourselves above those you claim to serve. They are all hypocrites."

Luna sent another punch to his face.
"I left all that! I betrayed my goddess... for you! To be with you! I turned my back on all of that just so i could stay at your side!"

Virgil caught her fist and started bending it backwards. "No, you betrayed your goddess, not the entire beliefs."

Luna cried out with pain, the water around the gauntlets dropping to the ground.

"When you can truly understand me, my logic, my hatred, then you will understand what you must do."

Luna slumped to the ground, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"From the first moment i saw you, i fell in love... and i couldnt rid myself of it. I only wanted to be with you, to be loved in return by you. Even when you turned to your demon form, i didnt shy away from you. Why do you have to be this way? Why cant you just look towards me?"

Virgil knelt down in front of Luna and let go of her hand. "I look at you and see her and the mark she has left on both of us. You make me see that which i hate most about myself."

Luna cradled her wrist and looked up at him.
"Then see me. Not her. I'm not your mother. I am Luna."

Virgil looked as though he was about to kill Luna before turning around and walking away.

Luna watched him leave then pulled her knees up to her chest and sobbed into her knees. She looked at the white hair that fell into her vision. Was this what made him hate her? She tugged at it angerly, ignorign her screaming scalp.

Virgil walked down to a small river and stood by it. He stood there watching his reflection.

Luna stared at the small handful of hair she managed to pull out. She threw it at the ground and cried with frustration.

Virgil stood there for several minutes before throwing his head back, hysterically laughing.

Luna looked up, listening to his hysterical laughter. She stood up and stepped forward, wanting to head towards him but hesitated.

Laharl was asleep dreaming of his mother's death,one of the memories he didn't like having back,he was speaking softly in his sleep but quickly jumps up hearing a loud scream,he sighs in relief seeing it was only Luna.He stands up and begins walking off summoning Pyre a tear slides down his face but quickly evaporates as it leaves his face

Virgil sat down and stopped laughing. He unhooked his weapons and started taking his clothes off.

Luna moved forward towards where the laughter had been coming from. she paused at the thinning of the forest near the river and gazed at Virgil.
