Virgil turned his devil trigger active and transformed. "Just focus on the power it gives you."

Laharl closes his eyes and after a few seconds opens them,they shine white and Laharl's body begins to change,becoming black and embers begins to appear around his body,a large flame appears under Laharl and engulfs him,as it disappears he is changed,he smiles as he looks from Virgil to Dante and then begins laughing

LUna swiftly moved behind Virgil, clasping onto him, staring with fear at the form Laharl had taken.

Virgil reverted from his devil trigger back to normal. "Oh, Luna, here." Virgil handed her the bag with the gauntlets and greaves in it. 'This will drastically your strength and speed."

Luna accepted them and looked them over.
"How? I travel and fight by the light of the moon. However powerful the moon is, that is how powerful i am."

"This is a fixed source of power. Anytime, anyplace, no special terms. Plus, you have been fighting only using godly power. If you embrace demonic power, you will be even stronger. Think of it as using both ends of a staff."

Laharl reverted back to normal and then stretched out his hand a small flame appeared and it stretched out into the form of a gun,it solidified and became a black and red gun it was small,but powerfull"i could get used to this"he then smiles as the gun vanishes

"Just don't overestimate your own power. Understand that you and I are still a long ways off from killing a god. It took everything I had and I only wounded Shira."

Laharl puts on his glasses and says"i know that....before i fight with a god i need to be at full power and in order to do that i need to master my other half,but i'm not ready for that yet"

Virgil began walking back toward the field he was in earlier. "Both of you, come with me."

Laharl followed after Virgil curious about where he was taking them.

Virgil stood over the stone and cut his hand, not letting the blood drop onto the stone. "Tell me, why do you desire power?"

Laharl squeezes his fists and replies"honestly.....i don't know...i have been trying to learn the reason for my existence but after gaining my memories,i still don't know it...."he loosens his grip and looks at the ground,thinking of why he had been looking for power all this time

Virgil stepped in front of Laharl and Virgil drove his knee into Laharl's stomach. He threw a right hook with his devil bringer. "Now, why do you want power?"

Dante watches intently as Virgil beats up on Laharl.

Laharl spits out some blood and then looks at Virgil and says"instinct"his eyes begin shining and he takes off his glasses saying"i am the son of an Overlord,it is coded into my dna to be the strongest,but,i will find my own way to defy what i was so called born to do and in order to do that i must be stronger that's why."Laharl's eyes return to normal and he puts his glasses back on,and looking at the sky

Haru watches the demonic demigods from above hiding in the light of the sun

Virgil threw another punch with his devil bringer and grabbed his shirt. He dripped his blood on the stone and looked over at Dante. "Mind helping?"

"heh sure" dante slit his hand again and held it over the stone clenched it into a fist and the blood dripped onto the stone.

Virgil, Dante, and Laharl were teleported to Dante and Virgil's father's armory. Virgil let go of Laharl and held out his hand to Dante. "Amulet."

"alright" Dante removed the amulet from around his neck and handed it to Virgil.

Virgil opened the door with the two amulets and walked into the armory. "Laharl, take your pick."

Dante walks into the armory and looks around
