L = Cody Webber (guy on youtube. amazing photographer and is alot like L)
Kira/Light = Zack Effron (looks alot like Light)
Near = Hugh Mitchell
Mello = Mitchell Muso (yes, another disney channel actor but i think he could pull off mello really well.)
Misa = Brooke Hogan (dont ask why)
Ryuuk = (not sure, would hve to hold auditions)

I have younger cousins who i watch and they love disney.

ah.. that's acceptable. My little sister loves Hannah Montana and other disney shows.

wizards of waverly place is a good show, and i'm sure inu will agree with me there

ummmmmm its ok..... mostly i just watch it cus nothing else is on...... same with most of the other stupid shows i sometimes watch....
